We may collect your personal data directly as part of using some services on our website, especially if you fill in a form to request information from our teams.

An asterisk (*) against a form field identifies personal data we require you to enter. Without that data, we will not be able to record and follow up your request.

 

These are the categories of data collected

  • Via the contact form: title, last name, first name, email address, telephone number. 
  • Via the membership application or membership renewal form: all the information required in the fields in these documents.

 

In all categories, data can only be accessed by staff responsible for membership and/or incoming requests. 

If you have agreed to receive news updates from Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique, the data will be recorded in the file for news update subscribers.

This file allows us to email out news updates.

 

While visiting our website, your device’s browser will automatically send data that we are entitled to collect and record. Such data may in particular include:

The data collected via the information request from will be stored for 99 years.

Recipient of the data

The data collected are intended for use by Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique.

Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique will not sell or lease your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Nor will Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique disclose your personal data to third parties, except where obliged by a government authority or regulatory body to do so, where there is a warrant or subpoena or any other, similar government or legal requirement to do so, or in order to bring or defend against legal action.

Before we respond to these requests, Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique will ask each user to prove their identity so we can check it matches the identity of the data subject.

Request rectification: If the personal data that Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique holds are inaccurate, users may request that they be updated.

Request erasure: Users may ask that their personal data be erased, in accordance with the data protection legislation in force.

With your request, please enclose a copy of a valid identification document bearing your signature. We will respond within a month of receiving your request. This one-month period may be extended by two months if required due to the complexity of the request and/or the number of requests made.
